Safeguarding
The safety of service users is of the utmost importance. Staff have safeguarding training to Level 3 which is required by all clinical staff working with children. This training is regularly updated. Competencies in this area are reviewed annually.
Appropriate clinical safety measures are in place and include PPE (PPE at Work Regulations (1992) as well as a regular review of UKHSA/PHE IPC guidance and general health and safety policies and procedures including Infection Prevention and Control and the reporting of incidents and accidents.
Premises are risk assessed for safety and staff trained in health and safety in the workplace as well as in the community.
The company has Employers Liability Insurance as well as Professional Indemnity cover and high standards on Health and Safety are encouraged. The health, safety and welfare of staff are a priority.
In addition to their clinical training and professional qualifications staff undergo Core Skills Training to facilitate a safe and professional service is provided to families. This includes aspects of UK Core Skills Training Framework (UK CSTF).
