We support bottle or mixed fed babies and their parents in the same way as breast fed babies and their parents. We do not judge , criticise nor discrminate.

Breastfeeding is only best for the dyad of mother and baby if it becomes enjoyable. It is a myth that painful and sore nipples are just something the mother must suffer to achieve breatfeeding their baby. Early prompt assessment and treatment is crucial not the ‘grin and bear’ it approach taken by so many women!

Nature designed the mother and the baby for breastfeeding to be enjoyable and satisfying for both members of the dyad. Do not suffer in slilence privately behind closed doors as so many women do - reach out for professional help and support - whether infant feeding support or breastfeeding psychology or both!

At the end of the day the primary consideration is getting enough milk into the baby for good nutrition, hydration , weight gain, growth and proper development as well as the deepening formation of a strong healthy positive bond between mother and baby.

How the milk is delivered or transferred is really just a secondary consideration.
