Simon lives in Aylesbury with his wife, younger son and 2 Tibetan Terriers

Simon's undergraduate Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine studies were at the BCA, London School of Medicine for Women , 8 Hunter St London WC1N 1BN (now dissolved) , the FNO in Sainte Ettiene. France and in China where he maintains professional links. He did postgarduate training in Chinese Herbal Medicine Gynaecology and Dermatology at Renshu College as well as Tui Na and QiGong in the PRC. Renshu College of Chinese Medicine was a prominent London-based institution that provided advanced training and diploma courses in Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and Chinese Herbal Medicine. The college operated in close association with medical institutions in China, offering part-time professional education programs for medical professionals. It was particularly known for equipping practitioners, such Osteopaths, with certified skills in dry needling, qigong, and Chinese Herbal Medicine.

Simon gained IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) status in 2020 - the international gold standard in lactation consultancy and infant feeding support. https://iblce.org/ Previously he had gained a Lactation Education Accreditation and Approval Review Committee (LEAARC) approved Breastfeeding Specialist Diploma.
