Acupuncture and Chinese medicine

Simon can support a mother or baby with acupuncture or Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture can help initiate labour, sometimes avoiding the need for ‘medical’ induction. It can also support mother’s recovery in the time after birth, or increase her milk supply.

Chinese medicine can do wonders. He works closely and collaborates with a leading practitioner in China.

Traditional acupuncture uses the insertion of fine needles and moxibustion to help regulate and balance a person’s Qi 氣

There are different styles of acupuncture. These can be divided into three broad categories: traditionally based systems of acupuncture,  western medical acupuncture, and microsystems: eg, ear acupuncture.
